JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking to recruit a Digital Marketing Executive, to oversee the digital marketing of a selected number of our clients / brands. The ideal candidate will act as a direct liaison with our client/s, working within a highly dynamic team in a fast-moving environment by creating meaningful engagement through social media platforms and website / eShop to constantly strive to increase brand engagement.

The role requires an energetic and innovative individual who is passionate about marketing, lives and breathes social media, can communicate easily in English, write good content coupled with a creative flair and design capabilities and must have excellent time-management skills. Our work is client-centric and we innovate ideas and strategies that deliver results.

The successful applicant will not only report directly to the MD but will also work closely with the other members of the Communiqué team.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

  • Planning and execution of marketing and social media strategies to help drive traffic and engagement to the social media pages and website/s
  • Production of written, digital and animated content for social media channels primarily on Facebook and Instagram but will also include LinkedIn, Twitter and TikTok
  • Monitor the ongoing digital presence and suggest solutions to increase visibility and engagement
  • Research influencer marketing, source talent and manage collaborations and brand ambassadors
  • Manage and maintain websites and including the company website, and eshop/s
  • Work on briefs and prepare presentations for marketing campaigns
  • Create monthly plans and produce competitor analysis reports to measure the success and performance of digital media campaigns
  • Develop, manage and daily monitor paid campaigns
  • Ensure that social media campaigns are in line with budgets and keep budget records up to date
  • Engage with audiences and respond accordingly
  • Keep up to date with any social media and digital trends
  • Regularly monitor competitor social media sites
  • Performing ad-hoc marketing tasks and projects as assigned
  • Assist in photoshoots, brand activations and the organization of events and webinars

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related discipline (or equivalent experience
  • A good command of the English language, with excellent copywriting and copy-editing skills in English
  • Minimum 2 -3 years solid experience in digital marketing and social media management
  • IT savvy including Adobe Creative Suite and MS Suite, or content tools such as Canva or similar
  • Have the capability of creating content with photography and video for social media platforms
  • Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads, and Google Analytics are considered essential
  • Have website management and knowledge of WordPress and MailChimp
  • A qualification in graphic, digital, or website design will be considered an asset
