JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for a thoughtful, ideally with experience, and community-driven “end-to-end” strategist to drive brand and creative content strategies from concept to full campaign development. The right candidate will be responsible to discover insights, articulate ideas, build proposals, own briefs, plan, design, create, edit and develop content for every form of brand strategy based on our clients’ company business objectives and campaign goals.

This job requires an extremely creative person who loves to be innovative and to create original work developing ideas. An individual who is passionate about marketing, storytelling and wants to have a pro-active voice in campaign creation processes. It is imperative to be able to communicate easily in English, come up with excellent & clever content coupled with a creative talent to conceptualise. The ideal candidate would be expected to identify and create story ideas on a broad range of topics for a variety of channels and turning them into compelling narratives.

ROLES AND RESPONSABILITIES

  • Performing extensive research to gain in-depth knowledge of all customer personas and analysis on consumer thoughts and trends,
  • Creating clear and compelling strategic creative concepts
  • Identifying target audience profiles and creative content appropriate for the brand’s customer personas,
  • Devise brand and content strategies to convert new and existing customers into successful stories,
  • Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns and social media strategies,
  • Planning and developing the campaign’s editorial calendar and maintaining it is consistent across all delivery platforms,
  • Overseeing writing style and ensuring that tone, style and voice of all content is followed according to brand,
  • Post content in accordance with Content Calendar, responding to comments, when appropriate, to foster a positive community,
  • Tracking and conducting periodic brand & content audits calculating content ROI,
  • Planning and execution of marketing and social media strategies to help drive traffic and engagement to the social media pages and website,
  • Production of written, digital and animated content for social media channels primarily on Facebook and Instagram but will also include LinkedIn, Twitter and TikTok
  • Monitor the ongoing digital presence and suggest solutions to increase visibility and engagement
  • Research influencer marketing, source talent and manage collaborations and brand ambassador
  • Manage and maintain websites and including the company website, and eshop,
  • Work on briefs and prepare presentations for marketing campaigns
  • Create monthly plans and produce competitor analysis reports to measure the success and performance of digital media campaign
  • Develop, manage and daily monitor paid campaign
  • Ensure that social media campaigns are in line with budgets and keep budget records up to date
  • Engage with audiences and respond accordingly
  • Keep up to date with any social media and digital trend
  • Regularly monitor competitor social media site
  • Performing ad-hoc marketing tasks and projects as assigned
  • Assist in photoshoots, brand activations and the organization of events and webinars

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications, Journalism  or related degree.
  • Ideally minimum 2 years in the job professional experience .
  • Need to write well, with proper tone, feeling, sentence structure and emotion. Grammar counts!
  • Requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail,  strong organisation and project management skills.
  • Have Strong research skills and be a creative strategic thinker.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must lead client meetings and/or present a pitch.
  • Be an expert in the creation of content and content lengths required for various mediums including social media, print, web, email, and video.
  • Needs to know how to write persuasively and in some cases, defend their creative strategies proposed.
  • Must have their finger on the pulse, to create compelling storytelling that is relevant and modern, and relatable to the targeted audiences.
  • Be able to get things done, as some projects can take a long time to finish, with unexpected turn arounds for revisions.
