ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time on-site key role located in Birkirkara for an Assistant to Marketing & Design Director, working closely with the Marketing & Design Director to manage co-ordinate campaigns/projects from concept to completion, on time and to budget.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Communiqué and the clients serviced within it are fast-paced and highly adaptable to whatever is required as their marketing and business evolve. Situations can and do change regularly, and the person that is right for this role will take it in their stride, building a strong network of relationships across the business, being able to take the initiative in proactively joining the dots between conversations and individuals in order to move things forward quickly & smoothly.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or within the marketing/advertising industry
  • Understanding of requirements and implications of working for & representing the Marketing, Design Director.
  • Experience in project management with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, under pressure, and to tight deadlines
  • Have a keen interest in marketing and knowledge of the local marketing landscape
  • Capable to follow and work with using social media platforms on LinkedIn, TikTok , Facebook, Instagram and Google.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of budgeting campaigns, monitoring and adhering to maintain budgets
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain brand consistency
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills both English and Maltese
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to source quotations, negotiate and procure
  • IT literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, File Sharing, Internet, Outlook, WordPress is essential
  • Familiarity with content creation, creative writing, proofreading is a plus
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva etc, are an added asset
  • Numeracy skills will be an added advantage
  • Possess a driving license and has regular access to a car
